Krystal Waltho BA (Hons), PGCE, MA, QTS
I am a qualified drama educator and communication coach with over a decade of experience teaching in both UK and international schools. I hold a BA (Hons) in Drama, a PGCE with QTS, and a Master’s in Education and Leadership, with a professional background spanning drama, performance, public speaking and immersive learning.
Throughout my career, I have worked with young people across a wide range of ages and abilities, helping students develop confidence, creativity and expressive communication skills through supportive, student-centred approaches. My teaching combines performance techniques, storytelling and drama-based learning to create engaging sessions that encourage students to communicate with clarity, authenticity and confidence.
Alongside teaching, I work as an examiner for both IB and Cambridge Drama qualifications and have experience preparing students for performances, presentations, speaking assessments and LAMDA examinations. I am DBS-checked and safeguarding-qualified, with a strong commitment to creating safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environments where young people feel supported to grow and express themselves confidently.
